About Bridget’s Run

Bridget’s Run is an annual 1km/5km fun run/walk held in recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The 8th Annual Bridget’s Run is taking place on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. This event supports Bridget's Bunnies' work to ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Bridget’s Run Committee and play a crucial role in helping us market and promote the run. This is a fantastic opportunity for creative and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Bridget’s Run Committee as a Marketing and Promotions volunteer! If you have a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and spreading the word about an amazing cause, we’d love to have you on board.

Hours: Volunteers are expected to attend regular virtual committee meetings every 3-4 weeks and dedicate additional time to fulfilling their agreed-upon tasks.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Research & Planning: Identify promotional opportunities and develop a strategic promotion schedule (ex, social media calendar).

• Media Outreach: Build and maintain a comprehensive media contact list to expand our reach and assist with copywriting.

• Content Creation: Develop and distribute media kits, press releases, and advertising materials, including a media kit for Bridget’s Run fundraisers.

• Branding & Design: Oversee the layout and printing of promotional materials to ensure a cohesive look.

• Event Promotion: Help drive awareness and participation through creative campaigns on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).

• Post-Event Recognition: Coordinate thank-you messages for sponsors, media partners, and participants.

• Audience Growth: Explore innovative ways to reach new participants and supporters.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about marketing, media, and community events.

• Creative and innovative, always thinking of fresh ways to engage audiences.

• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a team and taking initiative when needed.

• Experience in media relations, graphic design, or social media is a plus!
