 Let Your Voice be Heard!

Bridget’s Bunnies is expanding the equitable reach of our services to all communities impacted by pregnancy and infant loss in Simcoe-Muskoka AND we can’t do it without your voice!

Why are we doing this?

Bridget’s Bunnies was built from a desire to share the resources that helped us through the loss of Bridget with those that follow down this terrible path. We have been given a unique opportunity to increase our capacity to sustainably fulfil our vision of ensuring no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone in Simcoe-Muskoka. But, we can’t do it without hearing the diverse voices of our community first.

We know organizations across this region are doing incredible work not typically associated with reproduction, women’s issues, or grief, and we want to hear from them too. This is an opportunity to work together and really change the way pregnancy and infant loss supports are accessed and offered.

How are we doing this?

Thanks to the Women’s Capacity Fund through Women and Gender Equality Canada, we are surveying those who live and work in Simcoe-Muskoka-Parry to learn more about what access to pregnancy and infant loss supports looks like in our region and how we can improve it!

To dig even deeper into these issues, we are hosting Community Engagement Sessions in various locations throughout Simcoe-Muskoka and inviting participation from:

  • community organizations

  • non-profits

  • healthcare providers

  • those whose work supports women or those who have been or could become pregnant

  • those with lived experience with pregnancy or infant loss.
