Bridget’s Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation
Working to ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone
What We Do
Bridget’s Bunnies works to ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone. We do this by providing Comfort Kits to individuals and families in their moment of crisis, meeting them further along in their journey through our community celebration of love, Bridget’s Run, and through our Little Loss Libraries which provide discreet access to grief and loss resources to those who need them most throughout Simcoe-Muskoka.
Why We Do It
Inspiration for Bridget’s Bunnies is drawn from our beautiful baby girl, Bridget Bell Morrison, who was unexpectedly born still on November 22, 2017, just one day shy of her due date. We were in no way prepared for this news and relied entirely on those around us for direction and support as none of the books we read or classes we took during pregnancy prepared us for saying goodbye. This is our way of parenting our little girl who didn’t get to stay.
How We Do It
Bridget’s Bunnies works closely with healthcare providers and community partners throughout Simcoe-Muskoka and Ontario. We provide Comfort Kits, Little Loss Libraries and other supports at no cost to recipients thanks to the generosity of our incredible community of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and fundraisers. We rely entirely on these funds and hours to cover programming costs as we receive no government funding.
Who We Are
Bridget’s Bunnies is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of passionate professionals from the communities we support and our Co-Founder, Bridget’s dad. Our incredible team of volunteers is led by our Executive Director, Bridget’s mom. The Bridget’s Bunnies family is also made up of our donors, sponsors, support recipients, and Bridget’s Run participants.
